SENTILLION LAUNCHES NEW BUSINESS UNIT DEDICATED TO VIRTUALIZING CRITICAL BUSINESS CAPABILITIES
Paul Roscoe Appointed to President of Sentillion vBusiness Unit
ANDOVER, Mass. - June 26, 2006 - Sentillion, Inc., a leading provider of identity and access management (IAM)
solutions for healthcare, today announced the launch of Sentillion vBusiness, a new strategic business unit
focused on delivering virtualized software solutions that will enable companies in any industry to extend
computing beyond the boundaries of the corporate network, without sacrificing performance or security. While
remaining deeply committed to delivering IAM technology to the healthcare market, Sentillion will leverage
its vBusiness unit to bring its new virtualized solutions to other industries. President of Sentillion vBusiness,
Paul Roscoe, who previously served as senior vice president of field operations for Sentillion, will oversee
and manage the new business unit reporting directly to the Company’s CEO, Robert Seliger.
Sentillion vBusiness was founded on the principle that physical boundaries should not compromise or
limit business operations and user experiences. Sentillion vBusiness virtualization solutions provide the
capability for business functions and the people who implement them to do so from anywhere in the world
with a level of security and performance as if they were physically within the enterprise.
In related news, Sentillion today unveiled (www.vthere.net)
vThere™, the first product offering from its vBusiness unit. vThere
is a virtualized remote access solution which provides organizations
with the ability to deliver a software-only personal computer to
provide exactly the same application access, user experience and
level of security, as when the user is physically within the enterprise,
but without the need for server-based infrastructure. vThere resolves
the cost, complexity and performance limitations commonly associated
with other remote access products on the market.
“As remote and mobile workforces continue to grow in virtually
every industry, the need for a solution that can provide the same
user experience without sacrificing security and performance is
paramount,” said Robert Seliger, CEO of Sentillion. "The formation
of the vBusiness unit and the release of its first product, vThere,
is an extremely important business initiative for Sentillion and
we are very pleased to have Paul leading this effort."
Since 2003, Paul Roscoe has served as senior vice president of field operations,
responsible for developing and implementing Sentillion’s revenue growth strategies.
During his tenure, Sentillion posted record sales, including $50M in 2005, and has
become the largest stand-alone provider of IAM solutions to any industry. Prior to
joining Sentillion, Roscoe served as Area Vice President, Healthcare for Sybase. A
native of the United Kingdom, Roscoe is a graduate of the Oldham Business School.
