SENTILLION IS THE ONLY SINGLE SIGN-ON VENDOR
TO BE RECOGNIZED BY KLAS ENTERPRISES
Leading Healthcare Solution Receives High Marks for Customer Satisfaction,
Commitment to Innovation and Accountability in the KLAS "Top
20: Mid-Year Report Card"
ANDOVER, Mass. - September 5, 2006 - Demonstrating its commitment to
delivering exceptional products and unparalleled customer support,
Sentillion today announced that it is the only single sign-on (SSO)
vendor to be recognized by KLAS Enterprises and the first
vendor of its kind to be included in the firm's annual and highly
respected report on healthcare IT vendors. Sentillion's Vergence®
solution, which includes user provisioning, single sign-on and context
management products, scored an above average 88.3 percent customer-performance
rating in this report.
KLAS Enterprises is a research firm specializing in monitoring
and reporting the performance of healthcare IT vendors. The data
used in the "Top 20" report is derived from surveys of
more than 4,500 hospitals and more than 2,500 clinics, representing
nearly 75 percent of U.S. hospitals.
"We are delighted with our performance in the KLAS report because
it is an unbiased reflection of the value customers feel they receive
when purchasing our technology," said Nancy Ham, president
of Sentillion. "We are deeply committed and go to great strides
to implement our solutions on-time and within budget, to deliver
innovative new products and features and to be the best, most responsive
technology partner that we can be. We are glad to see that we are
not only meeting, but exceeding, our customers' expectations in
these critical areas."
The KLAS scoring is based upon a thorough 40-question survey completed
by a customer executive, followed by an in-depth interview of the
executive by KLAS. The process is designed to not only provide actual
vendor scoring, but also to identify the key questions which should
be asked by organizations when evaluating any healthcare IT product.
Topics addressed by executives include depth and breadth of functionality
and product and service quality and reliability. Also measured are
customers' experiences with the vendor's executives and support
teams and performance of projects against original cost expectations,
including the initial project and ongoing actual internal support
costs, which can be overlooked during the selection process. The
final survey results are available in the KLAS database.
With over 174,000 caregivers live on Vergence, Sentillion leads
the industry with successful deployments of user provisioning, strong
authentication, single sign-on, clinical context management and
privacy auditing. Sentillion's products are in use across North
America including nationally recognized institutions such as Christiana
Care Health System, Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Pepin Heart Hospital,
Sharp HealthCare, Sisters of Mercy Health System, Sunnybrook Health
Sciences Centre, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and all
163 Veterans' Affairs Medical Centers.
