SENTILLION NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF SERVICES
Margaret Thomas, Former CIO at Partners HealthCare System's Newton-Wellesley
Hospital, Joins Top 100 Healthcare IT Company
ANDOVER, Mass. - September 6, 2006 - Sentillion today announced that
Margaret Thomas, formerly the chief information officer at Newton-Wellesley
Hospital, a premier teaching hospital in Massachusetts and part
of the Partners HealthCare System, has joined the company as vice
president of services. In her new position, Ms. Thomas will leverage
her experience as a healthcare informatics professional and background
as a caregiver to lead Sentillion's services delivery organization.
Ms. Thomas brings more than 16 years of clinical and healthcare
IT domain experience to Sentillion. During her tenure at Newton-Wellesley,
Ms. Thomas created and led a high-performance IT department that
was able to transform the care delivery process through its successful
implementations of MEDITECH's computerized physician order entry
system (CPOE), Sentillion's single sign-on and context management
solutions and Quovadx's interface engine. She has also held various
IT management positions at nationally recognized healthcare organizations
including Stanford Health Services and Brigham & Women's Hospital.
Ms. Thomas started her career as a staff nurse in the surgical intensive
care unit at Massachusetts General Hospital.
