DELOITTE & TOUCHE NAMES SENTILLION AS ONE OF THE TOP 50 FASTEST GROWING TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES IN NEW ENGLAND
Largest Independent Identity Management Company Attributes Revenue Growth to Its Proven Leadership in Innovation and Its Excellence in Execution
ANDOVER, Mass. - September 14, 2006 - Sentillion, Inc. today announced
that it has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast
50 Program for New England, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing
technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies
in the area by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, one of the nation's
leading professional services organizations. Rankings are based
on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2001-2005.
With customers worldwide, Sentillion is the leading provider of
identity management solutions to the healthcare industry and the
only company providing a virtualized and server-less remote access solution for all industries.
Sentillion's CEO Robert Seliger credits the company's technology
leadership and innovation, its healthcare expertise and excellence
in execution with the company's revenue growth. Seliger said, "Our
growth is a direct result of our seasoned management team and 140-plus
employees, who have enabled Sentillion to both innovate and execute
at an exceptional rate. Over the past five years, Sentillion has
created an innovation engine that has powered the company's growth
from a single product company to a leading solution provider with
a robust portfolio of products and patented technology."
In 2005, Sentillion posted revenue of more than $24 million. These
achievements positioned Sentillion as the largest stand-alone provider
of identity and access management solutions to any industry, and
as one of the top 100 companies in the healthcare IT industry. In
2006, the company continued its growth through the creation of a
new business unit, Sentillion vBusiness, which is focused on delivering
virtualized software solutions that enable companies in any industry
to extend computing beyond the boundaries of the corporate network,
without sacrificing performance or security.
"Deloitte's New England Technology Fast 50 companies have
shown the strength, vision and tenacity to succeed in today's very
competitive technology environment," said Stephen DiPietro,
a Partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP in Boston. "We applaud
the successes of Sentillion and acknowledge it as one of the very
few to accomplish such a fast growth rate over the past five years."
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had
operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2001 and $5,000,000 in
2005, be headquartered in North America, and be a company that owns
proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that
contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating
revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the
research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology
or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.
