SENTILLION IMPLEMENTS SINGLE SIGN-ON SOLUTION FOR TENET HEALTHCARE
ANDOVER, Mass. - October 30, 2006 - Sentillion, Inc., a leading provider of identity and access
management (IAM) solutions for the always-on healthcare industry, today announced that it has entered
into an agreement with subsidiaries of Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) to implement Sentillion's
Vergence® SignOn Manager single sign-on solution across the Tenet system. Tenet currently operates 66 hospitals in 12 states and has approximately 78,000 employees.
Sentillion's Vergence® clients recognize the need for an Enterprise Single Sign-on solutions to improve
security and regulatory compliance while simultaneously enhancing caregiver productivity. The single sign-on
solution eliminates the use of multiple IDs and passwords.
Tenet is also utilizing the Vergence BridgeBuilder technology - a Wizard-based GUI solution that allows the quick
creation of application-specific software adapters for Web, Windows and terminal applications without custom
scripting - to quickly provide single sign-on capabilities to a wide-range of applications. From an IT
perspective, Vergence Privacy Auditor provides an audit trail for each user and application in the enterprise
thus enabling compliance with key security guidelines such as HIPAA and JCAHO.
